Jordan Intros Super.Fly 2

Jordan Brand pulled the curtain on the Super.Fly 2, the follow up to the versatile basketball shoe in Beijing, China, at the Jordan Take Flight event.

The follow up to the original, the Super.Fly 2 is the third shoe in the Jordan line (Air Jordan XX8 and the Trunner Dominate Pro, the other two) to feature the Flight Plate technology that utilizes a Pebax moderator to work with the Zoom units in the forefoot, increasing responsiveness while redirecting the energy in your foot for propulsion off the ground.

Taking other tech cues from the innovative Air Jordan XX8, the Super.Fly 2 also borrows the Dynamic Fit technology from the brand's flagship shoe. Using internal straps that wrap up from the midsole and integrate with the shoelaces, Dynamic Fit provides support while making the shoe and foot become one to help stabilize the foot and shoe during lateral cuts and changes in direction. Like many of the latest basketball offering from Nike, Hyperfuse is used in the upper construction with panels of mesh for lightweight durability and ventilation.

Wear-tested by many Team Jordan athletes, most notably Blake Griffin, the Super.Fly 2 has the high flyer's endorsement as he'll take to the court with them next season.

"The Super.Fly2 is by far the most responsive and most innovative shoe I have ever played in. The way it fits coupled with the responsiveness of Flight Plate really helps me perform at the highest level possible every time I am on the court."--Blake Griffin

The Super.Fly 2 was designed to be a shoe that worked across the board for all players, regardless of size or style of play.

"We looked at every position from big men to guards when developing the fit and traction design of the Super.Fly 2. No matter what position you play, you can be confident that this shoe will maximize your potential, helping you get to where you need to be on the court."--Justin Taylor, designer of the Super.Fly 2.
