Do As I Say On The Trey, Not As I Did

The next time you hear TNT's Charles Barkley complaining about jump-shooting teams not being able to win a championship, or Magic Johnson railing on this outside shooter, or NBA TV's Isiah Thomas railing on that outsider shooter, remember these all-time charts.

Those three Hall of Famers were among the worst outside shooters of all-time. Not only were they bad, they were awful bad, shooting horrible percentages on three-pointers and shooting those trey attempts often.

TNT analyst Steve Kerr?

As the all-time three-point percentage king, he is allowed to criticize Josh Smith, Dwyane Wade, Corey Brewer or Jamaal Tinsley for their overabundance of inefficient shots.

But just remember that dominate-the-paint kings Barkley, Zeke and Magic didn't always follow their own elder selves' advice when they were playing.
