Boston's Bill Sharman carried the East to a 100-91 victory over the West at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Sharman scored 10 points in the fourth quarter and 15 overall to win the game for the East and the MVP Award for himself. Before Sharman went on his spree, the lead had changed hands no fewer than 20 times.

Sharman's Boston backcourtmate Bob Cousy was high scorer for the East with 20 points. Minneapolis's Jim Pollard topped the West with 17 points.
