After fan voting determines the starters for the Eastern and Western Conference All-Stars, the 30 head coaches vote for the remaining team members in their respective conferences, selecting seven players -- two guards, two forwards, a center and two players regardless of position. If any of the All-Stars are unable to participate in the midseason classic for any reason, NBA Commissioner will select a replacement. Below is a list of replacements since 1990.
