HEAT Season Tickets On Sale For a Limited Time Only

Oct 21 2004 4:09PM
MIAMI, October 21 – The Miami HEAT announced today that the team will stop selling season ticket packages on Wednesday, November 3, 2004. After that date, those fans interested in purchasing season tickets will be added to a waiting list for the 2005-06 season. With the Opening Night game vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers and the lone appearance from the Los Angeles Lakers already sold out, season tickets are the best way for fans to secure seats for the biggest HEAT games of the season.

"We have been holding inventory to sell for season tickets and mini-plans, but that inventory is going fast as the season approaches,” said HEAT President, Business Operations Eric Woolworth. “Rather than continue to try and piece packages together, we are ceasing our mini-plan sales in the next day or two and converting the rest of our held inventory to season ticket packages.

“At our current pace, we anticipate that inventory being sold by the start of the season so we are announcing now that we will only sell season ticket packages until opening day, November 3rd. At that time we will establish a waiting list for next year. In addition to this limited season ticket inventory, we still have group ticket packages available for most of our games as well as individual game tickets. But we want our message to be clear, in that if people would like to guarantee themselves seats at HEAT games this year, buy your season tickets now."

The HEAT’s regular season home contests tip-off on Thursday, November 4 against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers at 8:00 PM.

Tickets for individual games will still be available online at or, by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX or by visiting any Ticketmaster outlet. Fans who still wish to purchase season tickets for the 2004-05 season may do so by calling 786-777-HOOP before November 3rd.
