HEAT Individual Game Tickets to go On Sale

MIAMI, Oct. 6 – The Miami HEAT have announced that all individual game tickets for the 2009-10 season will go on sale Friday, October 9 at 10:00 a.m. Ticket prices start at $10 per game and can be purchased at HEAT.com, ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets and via 1-800-4NBA-TIX. Individual game tickets will also be available through the HEAT ticketExchange – the club’s official website to buy individual game tickets from HEAT Season Ticket Holders. Please note that the Verizon Wireless Ticket Office at the AmericanAirlines Arena will not participate in the ticket on sale on October 9, but tickets may be purchased at the Verizon Wireless Ticket Office after the on sale date.

Hot, Hotter and Hottest Pricing Levels

This season, the HEAT is utilizing variable ticket pricing for individual game tickets, placing a premium on high demand games. All regular season home games during the 2009-10 season have been categorized in one of three tiers: Hot, Hotter and Hottest, with premium games deemed Hottest, popular games deemed Hotter and Hot games priced most affordably. 

Special Ticket Promotions

McDonald’s 59 Minutes / 59¢ - For the first 59 minutes of the on-sale, select HEAT tickets for the Opening Night contest on October 28 will be sold for only 59¢ courtesy of McDonald’s. Inventory is limited and all tickets sold as part of the 59 Minutes / 59¢ promotion are located in the 400 Level of Uptown. HEAT great Tim Hardaway will also be honored with a pre-game jersey retirement ceremony.

The McDonald’s® 2-for-1 Ticket Offer is available for all and Sunday games in the 300/400 Level. A password is required for this promotion. Click here to get the password. Papa John’s HEAT Family Meal Deal – 4 for $84 – Families looking for a great night out can purchase the Papa John’s HEAT Family Meal Deal, available for every home game this season. The price for the Papa John’s HEAT Family Meal Deal has been reduced to $84 (formerly $104). The Papa John’s HEAT Family Meal Deal includes four 300 Level tickets, four Papa John’s arena pizzas, four small fountain soft drinks and a Papa John’s coupon redeemable at participating South Florida locations. Additional tickets can be purchased for $21 each.

Papa John’s College Nights – Fans who have a valid and current college ID can take advantage of the Papa John’s College Nights promotion. Available for every Tuesday home game, college students, faculty, and staff who purchase a $10 ticket will also get a free t-shirt and a Papa John’s coupon. Papa John’s College Night tickets can only be purchased by calling 786-777-DUNK or at the Verizon Wireless Ticket Office located at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Fans will have a chance to catch the HEAT Experience up close and in your face, led by five-time All-Star Dwyane Wade, and features a mix of young talent and proven veterans, including six-time All-Star Jermaine O’Neal, and second-year sensations Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers.

The schedule also features a host of exciting contests, highlighting the NBA’s brightest stars and marquee teams. A HEAT great is honored on Opening Night, as Tim Hardaway becomes only the second player in team history to have his jersey retired at the Season Opener against the New York Knicks on October 28. Reigning MVP LeBron James, new acquisition Shaquille O’Neal, and the Cleveland Cavaliers visit the Magic City on November 12 and January 25. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen, lead a stacked Boston Celtics roster against the HEAT on November 29 and January 6. Dwight Howard, perennial All-Star Vince Carter, and the Eastern Conference Champion Orlando Magic make a visit to South Florida on December 17 and March 18.

In addition, NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers, led by Kobe Bryant and Ron Artest, visit Miami on March 4, and Tim Duncan and the revamped San Antonio Spurs make their lone trip to the AmericanAirlines Arena on March 16.
