MIAMI, October 15 – The celebration of the Miami HEAT 2006 NBA Championship continues with a unique piece of HEAT history being shared with Season Ticket Holders. The much talked about “15 Strong” cards that served as the team’s motivational tool during the playoff run have been packaged and sent to every renewed Season Ticket Holder with a note of gratitude from HEAT President and Head Coach, Pat Riley.

The “Ring of Faith,” a mysteriously shrouded locker room centerpiece, was finally uncovered when the HEAT clinched its first NBA title on June 20th, revealing an accumulation of 120,000 of the golden “15 Strong” cards. With each playoff victory, Coach Riley encouraged the players to continue filling the “Ring of Faith” with cards, inspirational messages, family photos and personal items. “We took on a slogan, a motto or whatever you wish, but it was really about 15 guys being strong,” Riley said.

The “15 Strong” cards mailing is one in a series of exciting events for HEAT Season Ticket Holders to enjoy the team’s historic victory. The ongoing Championship celebration will feature other activities including a Season Ticket Holder only Open Practice, exclusive locker room tours and private photo sessions with the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy.
