HEAT Announce 2005 Preseason Schedule

MIAMI, August 3rd – The Miami HEAT announced their 2005 preseason schedule today, which will open on Friday, October 14, when they host Pau Gasol and the Memphis Grizzlies at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The preseason will conclude on Thursday, October 27, with a game against the Orlando Magic at the TD Waterhouse Centre in Orlando, FL.

The seven-game line-up is highlighted by the team’s two contests at the AmericanAirlines Arena, which will take place at 7:30 PM on Saturday, October 15 against the Charlotte Bobcats and on Tuesday, October 18 against the Orlando Magic. The team will also host another home game in a neutral market. Miami hosts the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, October 24 at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, TN.

Specific local television and radio broadcast schedules for preseason games have yet to be determined.

Tickets to the preseason contests being played at the AmericanAirlines Arena will go on sale at a later date.
