ESPN to Broadcast March 26 Miami-Dallas Game

Mar 11 2004 3:10PM
NEW YORK, Mar. 10 - The NBA and ESPN announced this afternoon the HEAT’s Mar. 26 home game against the Dallas Mavericks will now be broadcast nationally on ESPN. It can still be seen locally on UPN-33. The time of the game was been switched from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to accommodate the national television broadcast. ESPN has dropped its previously scheduled New Jersey at Boston contest in favor of the HEAT-Mavericks match-up.

This marks Miami’s first appearance on ESPN and will be the first HEAT game nationally broadcast since TNT televised the HEAT and Celtics from Boston on Apr. 10, 2002. The last Miami home game to be televised nationally was the HEAT taking on the Lakers on Apr. 7, 2002.
