James and Wade: All-NBA Teams

The NBA announced today that Miami HEAT forward LeBron James has been named to the 2012-13 All-NBA First Team and HEAT guard Dwyane Wade has been named to the 2012-13 All-NBA Third Team. James led all players with 595 points, receiving all 119 possible First Team votes. The honor marks his seventh overall First Team selection and six-straight. The Miami HEAT announced today that Dwyane Wade is the recipient of the “2012-13 Seasonlong Kia Community Assist Award” in recognition of his outstanding efforts in the community and his ongoing philanthropic and charitable work. The award recognizes the NBA player who best reflects the passion that the league and its players have for giving back to their communities. The Miami HEAT beat the Indiana Pacers in overtime, 102-103, in Game 1 on Wednesday night at AmericanAirlines Arena. LeBron James, with the game winning layup, led all scorers with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Dwyane Wade scored 19 points, six rebounds and five assists. Reigning MVP LeBron James (30 points) made a left-handed layup just before time expired, lifting the HEAT to a thrilling 103-102 home victory over the Pacers in Game 1 of the East Finals on Wednesday. James also finished with 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Dwyane Wade scored 19 points and Chris Andersen, who made all seven of his field-goal attempts, finished with 16 points.
