Chris Andersen 2014-15 Season Rundown

Season Rundown:

Chris Andersen has been a fan favorite throughout his career due to the constant energy he provides while on the floor. The 2015 season was no different. Andersen dazzled often with alley-oop finishes and thunderous dunks along with some fantastic blocks on the other end. A lot of guys had to step up due to the injuries Miami faced and Andersen was no exception. Andersen started 20 games in 2014-15, by far the most of his career in a season, and averaged 5.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game on the year. He posted season-highs in points (18) and rebounds (14) against the Brooklyn Nets on March 11, while tallying three blocks in a game five times this past season, with the most recent coming on April 7 against the Charlotte Hornets.

They Said It (Quote):

“When we start moving the ball [and] we start playing real team basketball the way we’re capable of doing, it’s just really hard to stop us.” –Andersen after the HEAT’s 104-98 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on March 11
