For the month, Wade led the Eastern Conference in scoring (30.9 ppg) while shooting .502 from the field, ranked second in assists (8.7 apg), and fourth in steals (2.0 spg). Wade scored at least 20 points in every game, and on February 22, the five-year pro tallied a career-high 50 points at Orlando.
This marks the second time this season that the five-time All-Star will be honored with the award. Wade also won the Eastern Conference Player of the Month Award presented by Kia Motors for December after averaging 29.2 ppg, 6.3 apg, 5.3 rpg, and 1.85 spg, as the HEAT tallied a 9-4 mark for the month.
