Summer League Information
MIAMI, July 5 – The Miami HEAT announced today that current HEAT player Chris Quinn and 2007 First Round NBA Draft pick Daequan Cook will represent the HEAT at the upcoming Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando, FL. Miami HEAT assistant Erik Spoelstra will serve as the Head Coach during summer league play.
The HEAT is conducting two-a-day practice sessions on Thursday, July 5 though Saturday, July 7 in Miami. The HEAT will also practice on Sunday, July 8 in the morning before heading to Orlando. The HEAT begins summer league play on Monday, July 9 vs. the Charlotte Bobcats. The HEAT’s five-game schedule continues with match-ups against the New Jersey Nets, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic. Summer league play will conclude on Friday, July 13.
