MIAMI, May 18 – With the Eastern Conference Finals on the horizon, The Red Zone is in full effect throughout South Florida. Here’s what’s happening in The Red Zone this week:

Friday, May 20 – Red Zone “Destination Finals” Countdown Board – Join the HEAT as they employ a unique method of marking off each winning game on their “Destination Finals” Countdown Board at 9:00 am on Friday, May 20. It takes 16 wins to be crowned the NBA Champions, so to visually display the team’s quest for the trophy, the HEAT has created a “Destination Finals” Countdown Board that will be placed in the front of the AmericanAirlines Arena. To mark off the eight games already won, the HEAT will throw tomatoes at the board to “mark off” wins #16 – 9, and fans are invited to join in the fun. We hope to have a special guest on hand to throw out the first tomato. Following each win throughout the remainder of the playoffs, the HEAT will invite fans to join with them in eliminating another game from the “Destination Finals” Countdown Board, with a special guest celebrity recruited to throw out the “first tomato”. In addition, the palm trees out in front of AmericanAirlines Arena will now sport a large sign also counting down the number of games won thus far in the playoffs.

Friday, May 20 – Red Zone Window Vision Graphics Event - Back by popular demand, the Miami HEAT will stage another Red Zone Window Vision Graphics event at AmericanAirlines Arena on Friday, May 20, from 9:00 am – 12:00 Noon. The first time the HEAT staged this event, over 200 Red Zone Window Vision Graphics were applied to South Florida vehicles. This time, the first 250 cars on site will be outfit with a 24” Red Zone Window Vision decal. The Red Zone Window Vision graphic is visible from the outside of the car, but you can still see through the graphic when you’re driving.
