HEAT Unveils 2010-11 "All You Can HEAT" Partial Ticket Plan

MIAMI, August 11 – With the Miami HEAT sold out of its existing season ticket inventory for the 2010-11 season, the team today announced its 2010-11 All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan, which will be available for purchase starting Monday, August 16. The All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan is entirely customizable and based on an “a la carte” philosophy so that fans can select 10 games of their choice. All seating inventory for the All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan is located in the first three rows of Uptown’s 400 Level, and starts with prices as low as $430 per seat for the 10-game plan. Every regular season home game during the 2010-11 season is available for purchase as part of the All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan and there is a four-seat maximum per account.

Once again, the HEAT will be utilizing variable ticket pricing, giving fans the opportunity to purchase games that fit their budgets. Fans can mix and match their All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan by selecting games from four pricing tiers, with a selection of games priced at $35 and the most popular games—the Home Opener versus the Orlando Magic and the March 10 contest vs. the Lakers—priced at $125. The complete range of price tiers for the Partial Ticket Plan is: $35, $55, $75 and $125.

"Now that we have our 2010-11 schedule, we have developed a ticket sales strategy for the release of our remaining ticket inventory,” said President of HEAT Group Business Operations Eric Woolworth. “Given the unprecedented demand, we are going to release the inventory in phases between now and the beginning of training camp. The first phase will begin Monday, August 16 with the release of the All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan. Purchasing priority will be given to HEAT fans on our HEAT Hopefuls Season Ticket Waiting List. We cannot emphasize enough that the best way to ensure that HEAT fans get a chance to buy seats to games this year is to join the HEAT Hopefuls Waiting List.”

Fans can become members of the HEAT Hopefuls Waiting List by providing a $100 non-refundable per seat deposit with a four-seat maximum. To become a part of the HEAT Hopefuls, fans can click here.

Existing HEAT Hopefuls Waiting List members will be contacted via email in the coming days with specific instructions on how and when to purchase a Partial Plan. In addition, existing Waiting List members will have two choices when purchasing an All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan: they can opt-out of the Waiting List and have their total Waiting List deposit applied toward the purchase of their Partial Plan, or, they can remain on the Waiting List (for season tickets) and purchase a partial plan outright (no deposit money applied).

Given the limited seating inventory for the 2010-11 season, the HEAT cannot guarantee that everyone on the HEAT Hopefuls Waiting List will have the opportunity to purchase an All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan. Additionally, anyone not on the Waiting List will most likely not have any opportunity to purchase a Partial Plan.

The All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan will be available exclusively online via the team’s new and proprietary interactive online ticket sales platform, HEAT SeatPick™. Spearheaded by Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Tony Coba, whose information technology department was recently honored with a 2010 CIO 100 Award, HEAT SeatPick™ allows fans to access available Partial Plan inventory in real time with ease and efficiency.

Hundreds of tickets starting as low as $10 per game will be made available to the general public when individual game tickets go on sale in late September.
