HEAT Announce Summer League Information
MIAMI, 07/01 – The Miami HEAT announced today that HEAT draft selections Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers will join current players Daequan Cook, Stephane Lasme and Kasib Powell in representing the HEAT at the upcoming Orlando Pro Summer League at the RDV Sportsplex. Miami HEAT assistant Keith Askins will serve as the Head Coach during summer league play. The HEAT is conducting practice sessions on Wednesday, July 2 though Sunday, July 6 in Miami, prior to heading to Orlando. Media availability information will be forthcoming. The HEAT begins summer league play on Monday, July 7 vs. the Chicago Bulls. The HEAT’s five-game schedule continues with match-ups against the New Jersey Nets, Indiana Pacers, Seattle SuperSonics and Orlando Magic. Summer league play will conclude on Friday, July 11.
