MIAMI, April 6 – The Miami HEAT announced today that La Bamba Check Cashing, a thriving, local South Florida Hispanic-run business, will be the Presenting Sponsor of the 2006 HEAT Playoffs. As the Presenting Sponsor, La Bamba Check Cashing will be entitled to have its name and logo incorporated into the HEAT playoff theme – White Hot HEAT – The 2006 HEAT Playoffs – Presented by La Bamba Check Cashing. The La Bamba Check Cashing name and logo will also be present on various forms of signage, both inside and outside of the AmericanAirlines Arena, on print and outdoor advertisements promoting the playoffs, on in-arena giveaway items and on the special playoff website, www.whitehotHEAT.com. La Bamba Check Cashing will also receive advertising during HEAT playoff game broadcasts on both the English and Spanish language radio game broadcasts and they will sponsor several promotional activities and contests.

In becoming the Presenting Sponsor for the 2006 HEAT Playoffs, the La Bamba Check Cashing name and logo will benefit from several million audience impressions via local and national print and broadcast media coverage. Increasing their presence as a regular season HEAT corporate partner this year, La Bamba Check Cashing rises to the level of Presenting Sponsor of the 2006 HEAT Playoffs thanks to the dedicated cultivation of the local Hispanic business community by the HEAT.

“As the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s NBA playoffs, La Bamba Check Cashing wants to thank the Miami HEAT for an exciting 2005-2006 season and wish them great success in achieving our great city’s goal of winning the NBA title,” said Rene Caro, Owner/V.P. of La Bamba Check Cashing Corporation.
