Online Retail Store for Facebook Friends to Feature Exclusive Merchandise 

MIAMI, December 9th – Miami HEAT have taken their retail to cyberspace with the launch of their new “Shop HEAT” Facebook store. With the HEAT Facebook page at over 600,000 friends and growing rapidly each day, these HEAT Facebook fans will now have an exclusive shop they can call their own. The HEAT is the first team in the NBA to launch a retail store within Facebook.  

Fans looking to find exclusive items not available at the team store should log onto Facebook.com/MiamiHEAT and click on the “shop” tab at the top of the page to access the complete inventory of Shop HEAT products. The new Shop HEAT Facebook store will feature merchandise selected to appeal directly to the demographic of our Facebook fans, including exclusive designs by Miami artist LEBO. The Shop HEAT store utilizes Conversational Commerce™ a retail solution from Milyoni, the leader in social commerce for Facebook. The Conversational Commerce™ technology is designed to engage fans on their personal news feed with exclusive Miami HEAT offers and promotions. 

Just in time for the holidays, the “Shop HEAT” Facebook store will launch its “12 Days of HEAT” promotion starting December 10. During the “12 Days of HEAT” promotion, online shoppers can take advantage of special deals when making purchases, including getting tickets to selected HEAT games with purchases, plus other hot deals.
