HEAT Kumho Tires Team Up to "Drive to the Championship"

Fans Can Text DRIVE to 77577 for a Chance to Win Playoff Tickets

MIAMI, April 13th – The Miami HEAT and Kumho Tires have joined forces to ignite Miami and support the 2011 Miami HEAT “Drive to the Championship.” The Drive to the Championship campaign provides HEAT fans with an exciting, interactive, integrated promotion including game day giveaways and numerous opportunities to win free playoff tickets during the 2011 HEAT Playoffs.

Drive to Championship Countdown
Biscayne Boulevard is the heart of downtown Miami and the main street by which HEAT fans access the AmericanAirlines Arena. Sixteen palm trees have been wrapped with white fabric to coincide with White Hot: The 2011 HEAT Playoffs presented by Miccosukee Resort & Gaming. Additionally, each tree will have a tire graphic and number affixed to it representing a countdown of the games needed to win the 2011 NBA Championship. As the team acquires postseason wins, the numbers will be crossed out. Fans are encouraged to honk as they drive by to support the Drive to the Championship.

In an effort to get fans to the game, Kumho Tires will be conducting a Text to Win promotion in which two fans will be awarded two tickets each to the first two games of each playoff round. Kumho Tires will advertise Drive to the Championship within the local market. Fans that text the word DRIVE to 77577 will be entered to win a pair of playoff tickets.

In addition, Kumho Tires will provide 20,000 white rally towels for all fans in attendance for Game 2 of the First Round. The first 250 fans at each home game to stop by the Kumho Fan Zone outside of Section 304 will receive a White HEAT hat, courtesy of Kumho Tires.
