MIAMI, 10/02 – The Miami HEAT have announced that all individual game tickets for the 2008-09 season will go on sale Friday, October 3 at 10:00 a.m. Ticket prices start at $10 per game and can be purchased at HEAT.com, ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets and via 1-800-4NBA-TIX. Individual game tickets will also be available through the HEAT ticketExchange – the club’s official website to buy individual game tickets from HEAT Season Ticket Holders. Fans can also visit the HEAT’s online ticket center at www.channel1media.com/heat/2008, which can also be accessed via HEAT.com.  Please note that the Verizon Wireless Ticket Office at the AmericanAirlines Arena will not participate in the ticket on sale on October 3, but tickets may be purchased at the Arena Ticket Office after the on sale date.

Pricing Levels
There will be two pricing levels for individual game tickets. Games hosted Thursdays through Sundays will be at one price level, while the games hosted on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be at another price level. The HEAT’s six marquee match-ups against Boston, Cleveland and Detroit will be priced as weekend games. Fans may purchase as many as eight individual tickets per game.

October / November Games Special Offer
As a special bonus, the HEAT is offering a one-day sale where HEAT fans can save up to 43 percent off individual game ticket prices for home games played during the months of October and November. The one-day sale will be held on Friday, October 3, to coincide with the initial on sale availability.

Special Ticket Promotions
Guys Night Out – The perfect ticket package for guys looking for a good time.  This package includes a game ticket, a free 10 oz. beer or 16 oz. Pepsi soft drink, a free hot dog and a pre-game meet and greet with the Most Popular Dance Team in the NBA, the Miami HEAT Dancers.  Guys Night Out game dates are as follows:  November 14 vs. Washington, December 12 vs. Atlanta, January 24 vs. Orlando, February 28 vs. New York, March 28 vs. Milwaukee and April 7 vs. New Orleans.

Monday Night Madness – Fans will be able to extend their weekend one more day when they come to HEAT games on Monday nights.  The Monday Night Madness promotion features a discounted ticket*, plus special concession pricing on two of the most popular concession items.  The HEAT will be offering a 16 oz Pepsi soft drink or a box of popcorn for just $1.00 each!

Papa John’s HEAT Family Meal Deal – Families looking for a great night out can purchase the Papa John’s HEAT Family Meal Deal, available for every home game this season. Priced at $104, the Papa John’s HEAT Family Meal Deal includes four Uptown upper level tickets, four Papa John’s arena pizzas, four small fountain soft drinks and a Papa John’s coupon redeemable at participating South Florida locations. Additional tickets can be purchased for $26 each.

Fans will have a chance to catch the re-energized Miami HEAT, led by gold medalist Dwyane Wade, who dominated at the Beijing Games, and features a mix of young talent and proven veterans, including four-time All-Star Shawn Marion and the No. 2 pick of the 2008 NBA Draft Michael Beasley.

The schedule also features a host of exciting contests, highlighting the NBA’s brightest stars and up-and-coming teams. Unheralded guard Kevin Martin and the Sacramento Kings kick things off in the HEAT home opener on Halloween. Led by Finals MVP Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen, the NBA Champion Boston Celtics visit the AmericanAirlines Arena on January 21 and March 11. LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers also visit South Florida on December 30 and March 2. Newly-acquired Elton Brand and the Philadelphia 76ers visit the Magic City on November 5 and February 21. In addition, Western Conference powerhouse Phoenix Suns led by Steve Nash and Shaquille O’Neal come to Miami on March 4. Kobe Bryant and the Western Conference Champion Los Angeles Lakers make their lone trip to Miami in an 8:00 p.m. contest on December 19.
