HEAT to Host First Responder Night & Charity Event

Held At Wednesday’s HEAT vs. 76ers Contest Portion of Ticket Sale Proceeds Will Be Distributed Equally Among Three Local Charities
 ▪ Local Miami Police Departments Will Challenge Fire Departments in Free-Throw Contest 

MIAMI, 4/6 - The Miami HEAT announced that it is partnering with the City of Hialeah Office of Emergency Management to host the First Responder Night & Charity Event on Wednesday, April 7 at the AmericanAirlines Arena. Fans who purchase tickets by visiting http://groups.heatexperience.com/firstresponders will get a discounted rate for the HEAT vs. Philadelphia 76ers contest. Tip off is at 7:30 p.m. 

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be equally distributed among The American Cancer Society-Relay for Life, The American Red Cross, and the Police Officers Assistance Trust (P.O.A.T.) In addition, local Miami Police Departments will compete against the local Miami Fire Departments in a free-throw shootout during halftime.
