HEAT Activate Loren Woods, Place Wang Zhi-Zhi on Injured List
MIAMI, Mar. 31 - The Miami HEAT announced prior to tonight’s game against Atlanta that they have activated center Loren Woods and have placed center Wang Zhi-Zhi on the injured list with a right great toe turf toe.
Woods, a 7’1”, 255-pound center, was placed on the injured list prior to Miami’s March 4th game against Milwaukee with a lower back strain. He has appeared in 37 games this season (two starts) and has averaged 3.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 13.4 minutes. Zhi-Zhi, a 7’1”, 284-pound center, has appeared in 13 games with the HEAT and has averaged 3.0 points, 1.1 rebounds and 7.6 minutes. |
