HEAT Activate Walker, Place Coles on the Injured List

MIAMI, Feb. 21 - Miami HEAT President Pat Riley announced prior to tonight’s game against Denver that the HEAT has activated forward Samaki Walker and placed guard Bimbo Coles on the injured list with metatarsal contusions of both feet.

Walker, a 6’9”, 250-pound forward, was placed on the injured list due to right ankle bone spurs on Jan. 13. He has appeared in 20 games this season and has averaged 3.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 14.6 minutes.

Coles, a 6’2”, 185-pound guard, has appeared in 22 games this season (one start) and has averaged 1.3 points, 0.7 assists and 7.7 minutes.
