HEAT Activate Coles, Place Woods on Injured List

MIAMI, Mar. 4 - Miami HEAT President Pat Riley announced prior to tonight’s game against Milwaukee that the HEAT has activated guard Bimbo Coles and placed center Loren Woods on the injured list with a lower back strain.

Coles, a 6’2”, 185-pound guard, was placed on the injured list prior to Miami’s Feb. 21 game against Denver with metatarsal contusions of both feet. He has appeared in 22 games this season (one start) and has averaged 1.3 points, 0.7 assists and 7.7 minutes.

Woods, a 7’1”, 255-pound center, has appeared in 37 games this season (two starts) and has averaged 3.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 13.4 minutes while connecting on 46.3 percent (44-95) of his field goal attempts.
