HEAT Activate Malik Allen

MIAMI, Feb. 11 – The Miami HEAT announced today that they have activated Malik Allen from the injured list and placed Dorell Wright on the injured list with bilateral patella tendinitis.

Allen has appeared in 10 games for the HEAT so far this season, averaging 7.1 points and 4.3 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game. He was placed on the injured list on November 23, 2004 with back spasms and had successful surgery to repair the problem on December 1.

Wright was drafted by the HEAT with the 19th pick in the 2004 NBA Draft. He was activated from the injured list on February 3 and appeared in one game for the HEAT. He began the season on the injured list with an abdominal strain.
