Why do you think you’re ready for the NBA? It seems like maybe another couldn’t have hurt you in college…

Powell: “I just feel real confident about my game, and I think that I have a lot to bring to the table as far as inside and up…More personally, I am going to follow my dreams first…I am doing this first for myself to follow my goals.”

What parts of your game do you need to work on to prove as a player you can take it to the next level?

Powell: “Obviously I want to continue to get stronger. Secondly, I want to work more on my perimeter skills, that way I can be a complete player both inside and out.”

If the HEAT drafts you, how can you help them?

Powell: “I feel that I bring a lot of athleticism to the table, running the floor, I can defend big and small. And I just play hard, and play smart.”
