MIAMI, Oct. 1 -The Miami HEAT and WIOD-610 AM today announced a new five-year partnership agreement. The new agreement with Clear Channel-South Florida will result in every HEAT game being carried on South Florida radio station WIOD-610 AM. In addition, HEAT game broadcasts will be aired on WBZT-1290 AM in West Palm Beach for the first time.
“The HEAT Group is excited to extend our long-lasting relationship with Clear Channel,” said Michael A. McCullough, HEAT Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer. “We look forward to a continued successful partnership between the Miami HEAT and all Clear Channel radio stations.”
Play-by-play announcer Mike Inglis will handle the call on WIOD, and HEAT color analyst Tony Fiorentino will join Inglis for several home and select road games.
