LOCAL BROADCAST SCHEDULE

Seventy Regular Season Games Including 37 in High Definition

MIAMI, FL – The Miami HEAT and Sun Sports, the HEAT’s exclusive regional television home, have announced their broadcast schedule for the 2007-08 NBA season.

A total of 70 regular season Miami HEAT games, 36 home and 34 away, are scheduled to air on Sun Sports throughout the South Florida region this season

The regional sports network will also produce and distribute 37 of the games on Sun Sports HD, an increase of 85 percent over last season’s 20-game HD schedule. The HD telecasts will be available in South Florida on a separate Sun Sports HD channel for consumers with HD service from participating cable and satellite systems.

The 2007-08 season also marks the 15th consecutive year Sun Sports has provided live regional cable coverage of Miami HEAT action. Sun Sports will continue to bring HEAT fans closer to their hometown team with its commitment to feature programming produced by the network. Plans call for several all-new episodes of the Emmy award-winning “INSIDE THE HEAT” series with numerous player profiles and shows focusing on other aspects of the team and its operations.

Eric Reid enters his 20th season as a member of the HEAT broadcast team, serving his 17th year as the television play-by-play voice of the HEAT. He is joined by Tony Fiorentino, entering his fifth season as analyst, and courtside reporter/host Jason Jackson, who returns for his fourth season.

Sun Sports begins its coverage of Miami HEAT NBA basketball this season with a half-hour “MIAMI HEAT PRESEASON SPECIAL” premiering Friday, October 19, at 8:30 p.m. Regular season game coverage tips off on Sun Sports when the team faces the Indiana Pacers on Friday, November 2, at 7:00 p.m. with a special half-hour pre-game show, hosted by Jackson, airing that night at 6:30 p.m.

All 82 regular season games will be aired locally. Games not broadcast on Sun Sports will be aired on TNT, ESPN or ABC (WPLG – Channel 10). Visit HEAT.com for a complete local and national broadcast schedule.
