MIAMI, 6/29 - The Miami HEAT have announced that guard Dwyane Wade is nominated for Best NBA Player at the 2009 ESPY Awards. Wade joins the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant, the Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James in the category.

Winners are determined by fan voting online or through mobile phones. Fans wishing to vote online can do so by visiting ESPYS.tv Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on July 11.

The 17th Annual ESPY Awards will be hosted by Samuel L. Jackson and will air on ESPN on Sunday, July 19 at 9PM ET.
