MIAMI, 08/15 – The Miami HEAT announced their 2008 preseason schedule today, which will be highlighted by the team’s two home games at AmericanAirlines Arena and their NBA Europe Live 2008 trip to Paris and London. The HEAT will open in Miami on Sunday, October 5, when they take on the Detroit Pistons at AmericanAirlines Arena, and then travel overseas for the two games in Europe vs. the New Jersey Nets. The HEAT will return home to AmericanAirlines Arena to face the Memphis Grizzlies on October 21. The preseason concludes with a road contest on Friday, October 24, in San Antonio.

The seven-game line-up features the team’s two contests at AmericanAirlines Arena, which will take place at 6:30 PM on October 5 against the Pistons and on October 21 against the Grizzlies at 7:30 PM.

The HEAT will also travel to Jacksonville, FL to host the Orlando Magic on October 18. Tickets to that contest are available now by visiting ticketmaster.com.

Tickets to the preseason contests being played at AmericanAirlines Arena will go on sale at a later date.
