Red Zone on the Road Sweepstakes Rules

1. No purchase necessary. To enter, complete an official entry form on-line at www.heat.com. The Miami Heat is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, mutilated, deleted or ineligible entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by the Miami Heat on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the program is not capable of running as planned, due to, for example, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Miami Heat which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Miami Heat reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Miami Heat reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law. Miami HEAT Red Zone on the Road Sweepstakes begins May 19, 2005 and ends May 25, 2005.

2. Enter as often as you would like. The Miami Heat reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes or any part of this Sweepstakes should any virus, bug, non-authorized intervention, telecommunications or computer failure, or malfunction, or other causes beyond its control, corrupt or impair the security, administration, fairness and/or operation of this Sweepstakes as determined by the Miami Heat in its sole discretion. The Miami Heat, sponsors, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. are not responsible for injury or damage to participant’s (or any other person’s) computer, modem, or other electronic device, related to or resulting from participating or receiving materials in this Sweepstakes, or any other liability or damage of any kind related to this Sweepstakes.

3. Winner will be selected in a random drawing to take place on or around May 26 from among all eligible entries. Winner will be notified by e-mail. Failure to respond within two (2) days of notification will result in disqualification and the awarding of the prize to an alternate winner. Only one winner per family or household. Winner may not substitute or transfer prize or obtain cash equivalent, but the Miami Heat reserves the right to substitute prize with prize of equal or greater value.

4. Prize will be awarded. Odds of winning the prize depend upon the number of entries. The Miami Heat and sponsors are not responsible for any prize received after the end of the competition, due to an undue delay in postal service beyond our control. Winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility as well as a liability and publicity release within five (5) days of prize notification. In the event of non-compliance within this time period, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Any prize notification or prize returned to the Miami Heat as undeliverable will result in disqualification and the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner.

5. Contest is open to legal residents of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties who are 21 years or older. Employees and the immediate families of the Heat Group, the National Basketball Association and its Member teams, NBA Properties, Inc., AmericanAirlines Arena, Greater Florida Bank and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents are ineligible. Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to federal, state and local regulation. Taxes on prizes, if any, are the responsibility of individual winners.

6. Acceptance of prize offered constitutes permission for the Miami HEAT, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., Greater Florida Bank and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents to use winner’s name, biographical information, and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, authorization, or remuneration, as permitted by law.

7. Prize will consist of two lower-bowl tickets to Game Four of the 2005 NBA Playoffs – Third Round (ARV $200), two round-trip airfares (ARV $1000), and one-night hotel accommodations (ARV $200).

8. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to release and hold the Miami HEAT, Greater Florida Bank, the AmericanAirlines Arena, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., Basketball Properties, Ltd., Miami Heat Limited Partnership, the County of Miami-Dade, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, partners, officers, governors, employees and agents harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and/or actions of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage. By participating in this Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by all official rules of this contest.

9. For a copy of winner’s names, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Red Zone on the Road Sweepstakes, Miami HEAT, 601 Biscayne Boulevard Miami, Florida 33132. This request for winners’ names must be received by June 30, 2005 for names to be returned.
