If you’re strolling the concourses of the AmericainAirlines Arena during HEAT home games, chances are you can’t resist the animated blare of the trumpets and the steady pulse of the drumbeats you’ll hear from our funky, dancing musical machine, the HEAT Street Band. The 25 or so band members have been shaking their groove things and playing their hearts out since 2003. And they always leave HEAT Fans wanting more.

HEAT Street Band Auditions To Be Held on August 29 at 12:00 p.m.  

MIAMI, 8/26 – The Miami HEAT, in conjunction with the Miami Entertainment Group, have announced that they will be hosting open auditions for the HEAT Street Band on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at the AmericanAirlines Arena.  

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. Participants must be at least 17-years old by audition date and have access to their own instrument. Each prospective member will be evaluated on audition music, sight reading and dancing ability. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable marching attire. T-shirt, shorts and sneakers are suggested. 

Auditions are free. Free parking will be made available inside of the P2 parking garage located on the south side of the Arena.
