Part 3Jan. 18 - Feb. 29, 2004: Part 3 Photogallery Wade missed the first five games of the season's third quarter with the wrist injury, and was forced to sit out another pair of games with a sprained left ankle after just four games back in the HEAT lineup. Wade averaged 17.9 points and 4.2 assists in the 13 games he appeared in, and led the HEAT to four straight wins from Feb. 11 through Feb. 21 by averaging 27.0 points. He played one of his best all-around games of the season on Feb. 11, scoring 27 points, handing out five assists and grabbing a career-high 10 rebounds in a 111-98 win at Orlando. The HEAT hovered around .500 during this stretch, going 9-11 (3-4 without Wade) to stand at 25-35 as the final quarter of the season approached. |
