HEAT Recall Richardson from Skyforce

MIAMI, FL January 11 – The Miami HEAT announced today that they have recalled guard Josh Richardson from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Richardson has appeared in four games (all starts) in two different stints with the Skyforce this season, helping them to a perfect 4-0 record over that span, averaging 23.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.50 steals and 1.25 blocks in 38.3 minutes while shooting 47.3 percent from the field. In his latest stint, Richardson helped the Skyforce capture the NBA Development League Showcase Championship after scoring a team-high 26 points in a, 102-98, win against the Raptors 905 on January 7 and then dropping a game-high-tying 21 points, while posting a +25 plus/minus, in a, 102-81, victory on January 9 against the Santa Cruz Warriors. Additionally, the Sioux Falls Skyforce are now 16-3, marking the best start through 19 games in NBA Development League history.

Richardson will re-join the HEAT and be available for tonight’s game at Golden State.
