HEAT Announce 2013-14 Preseason Schedule

MIAMI, FL – The defending NBA Champion Miami HEAT announced their 2013-14 preseason schedule today. The eight-game schedule will be highlighted by the team’s three home games at AmericanAirlines Arena. The HEAT will open the preseason vs. Atlanta on Monday, October 7, when they take on the Atlanta Hawks at 7:30PM in Miami. They will also host a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals, when they face the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, October 19 at 7:30PM. The HEAT will close out the preseason when they welcome the new-look Brooklyn Nets to Miami on Friday, October 25 at 7:30PM.

Tickets for the three home games at AmericanAirlines Arena are on sale now, and can be purchased by clicking here, by visiting any Ticketmaster outlet, or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX. Tickets can also be purchased at the AmericanAirlines Arena Ticket office Monday through Friday from 10AM to 5PM. Ticket prices start at $10 plus applicable fees.

In addition to the three home games at AmericanAirlines Arena, the HEAT will also host a game at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO, taking on Charlotte on October 11. This marks the fourth time the HEAT will play in Kansas City. Tickets to that game are available by visiting SprintCenter.com, the Sprint Center Box Office or by calling (888) 929-7849. Miami will also play road contests against the Detroit Pistons on October 10, the Washington Wizards on October 15, the Brooklyn Nets on October 17 and the New Orleans Pelicans on October 23.

Although the Miami HEAT has sold out of its existing season ticket inventory for the 2013-14 season, HEAT fans can purchase a HEAT Priority Access Club membership – an annual, fee-based membership which guarantees priority on the Season Ticket Waiting List as well as presale opportunities and discounts for the All You Can HEAT Partial Ticket Plan, individual game tickets and other benefits. Only one HEAT Priority Access Club membership may be purchased per person, per household to give as many HEAT fans as possible the opportunity to enjoy the excitement of live HEAT basketball. Sun Sports will televise four of the team’s preseason games, with specific schedule details to be announced at a later date. All of the HEAT’s preseason games can be heard live in English on 790 AM/104.3 FM The Ticket and throughout South Florida on the Miami HEAT Radio Network, which includes ESPN 760 and FM 106.3 in West Palm Beach and ESPN 770 and FM 96.1 in Naples/Ft. Myers. All three games played in Miami will also be broadcast live in Spanish on WAQI Radio Mambí 710 AM.
