Born and raised in Miami, T.K. as been dancing since she was 3 years old. At the tender age of 18, T.K. had enough fire in her step to be chosen for the HEAT Dancers during the 92-93 and 93-94 seasons. After three years of dancing for both the NBA and AFL leagues, T.K. moved to Tampa to begin a family. But the excitement of professional sports summoned her spirit, and in 1999, she was back in thick of it, this time as a cheerleader for the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In September 2001, T.K. came full circle. Returning to Miami with her husband, Patrick and her children, Darrin and Darria, T.K. accepted her current position as Assistant Director/Choreographer for the 2001-2002 Miami HEAT Dancers.

T.K.’s other professional highlights include her role as a backup dancer for recording artists Patti LaBelle, Queen Latifah, Tobi Keith and Shaggy. She has also appeared on MTV’s “2001 Rock ‘N’ Jock” Superbowl Halftime show.
