Beginning his 13th season with the HEAT, Assistant Athletic Trainer Jay Sabol works closely with Athletic Trainer Ron Culp and Assistant Coach/Strength and Conditioning Bill Foran as they commit all their energies to keep the HEAT healthy during the regular season, postseason and off-season. Sabol also serves as the team’s equipment manager and assistant strength and conditioning coach.

Sabol was born and raised in Miami and graduated from Florida International University in 1992 with a master’s degree in exercise physiology. He is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Sabol enjoys fishing and boating in his free time. He resides in Kendall.
