Reid and Fiorentino Call of the Game Dinner
On Saturday, March 9, 2013, the seventh annual Reid & Fiorentino Call of the Game Dinner took place in Hollywood. The dinner was the highlight of a two-day fundraising event created by HEAT Television Play-By-Play Announcer Eric Reid and HEAT Television Analyst Tony Fiorentino. Raising over $500,000 for two Local charities, Lauren’s Kids Foundation and the Dade Schools Athletic Foundation, the night honored achievements by South Florida community heroes.
“Each year we continue to support two of the most remarkable charity organizations that ultimately benefit our kids in the community and throughout the region,” said co-founder Tony Fiorentino. “This year, we are proud to be honoring such outstanding individuals for their work above and beyond the call of duty, and we thank all of our sponsors and patrons for their continued support.”
The night’s honorees included Miami HEAT assistant coach Ron Rothstein, Miami Marlins broadcaster Dave Van Horne, former Miami Dolphins linebacker Twan Russell and 2012 Pulitzer Prize winner and CNN correspondent Sara Ganim. Two days earlier, the seventh annual Reid & Fiorentino Call of the Game Celebrity Golf Classic took place at the prestigious Turnberry Isle Miami.
More than 50 foursomes converged on the championship courses for a competitive day of golf and prizes.
