HEAT Community Archive 2005-2006
Miami, March 27 – The Miami HEAT would like to extend its gratitude to all volunteers, participants, vendors, and guests involved in the 9th Annual Miami HEAT Family Festival held on Sunday, March 26. The HEAT raised approximately $1.5 million during the weekend activities, which also included a Michael McDonald concert at the residence of Pat and Chris Riley, with all proceeds benefiting Jackson Memorial Foundation’s Guardian Angels, Safespace and the Miami Coalition for a Safe & Drug-Free Community.
MIAMI, August 8th – In an effort to help ease the nervousness of beginning a new school year, Miami HEAT players Dorell Wright, Wayne Simien and Earl Barron along with Burnie and the Xtreme Team set their alarms bright and early right along with the students of Riverside Elementary.
