HEAT Head Coach Stan Van Gundy

On the game:
“I thought we played all the way through. It was a pretty dominating performance at both ends of the floor. We played very well tonight, but it is on to tomorrow night where we have another challenge on the road against a team who has been playing well. I wish there was a week in between these games, so I could enjoy it a little bit.”

“There are always two things you are trying to accomplish. One is obviously to win the game, but the second is to get better. We are getting down to it now. We have a little over five weeks to go, and we have to take every opportunity in a game or practice to get better and to improve. We had 24 more minutes to go tonight, and we wanted to try to play good basketball and try to get better. It is not only about the scoreboard at this point, and I hope everyone understands that.”

On the HEAT players:
“We got to play everybody for some good minutes, but nobody got huge minutes, so it was a good night. Shaq was very good in the game. Dwyane [Wade] was fabulous in the first half. We went to him a bit more early in the game. I wanted to give him a few more looks tonight, and he was making great plays so it was easy to keep going back to him. Obviously, he had a pretty efficient night tonight.”

“Alonzo [Mourning] is getting a little more comfortable now, but it is tough right now. This will be the last stretch that will be tough because we don’t have any practice time. For him, it is better to be out there everyday, but after this stretch, we will be able to get those opportunities, and that will help him come along.”

HEAT Forward Udonis Haslem

On the game:
“We talked about getting off to a quick start. We talked about playing playoff basketball. We wanted to come out and play from start to finish. Last game, we started out kind of slowly. Tonight, we started out better. We need to protect our home court. We try to jump on a team and keep it going all the way through to the playoffs. We need to get better defensively. They got a couple of lay ups tonight. We can’t let teams come in and just get lay ups. We can’t give up shots like that.”

On the play of Dwyane Wade:
“He was amazing. We did want to rest him since we have a back-to-back, but he could have gotten 40 tonight.”

HEAT Guard Dwyane Wade

On the game:
“I got a couple of easy baskets. They (my teammates) got me going. I felt really good tonight. I was stuck in a zone for a while. We had a big lead, and since we’ve played well for the last couple of games, the coach gave us a needed rest. We’re playing together now and we’re playing with a lot of confidence. We feel no one can beat us right now and that’s the confidence you need going into the Playoffs. We need to continue playing together. We need to continue to take care of the ball and play defense. When we play good defense, we get the ball off the glass and that gives us the opportunity to run and get easy baskets. I give a lot of credit to my teammates for playing the way they have. I really came out aggressive today.”

HEAT Center Shaquille O'Neal

On the game:
“This is a game we’re supposed to win. We were supposed to win big. We just came out focused all four quarters. We played hard. Guys were playing great. Guys were playing at high level.”

On Dwyane Wade:
“He shot the ball very well. I thought Coach was going to leave him in. He [Wade] told me that he wanted to score 50 (points). We got a big lead in the third (quarter) and everyone else got a chance to get in the game. I think if Coach had left him in, he would have definitely had 50.”

On Alonzo Mourning:
“He shot the ball very well. He kept everybody involved and he kept playing well. Right now the whole team, the whole city is playing at a high level. We just have to maintain for the next 17games.

On blowouts:
"I think tonight we kept our focus the whole game and we didn’t give them a chance to score on any runs. We didn’t give them a chance to get a bunch of points real quick, real fast. Guys played good defense and we rebounded very well. It was a good team effort. I wouldn’t say I’m impressed, I would just say the job is not done. It’s not even almost done. I’m very proud of the guys. I’m a little bit impressed.”

On the upcoming Lakers game:
“I’ll think about the game we have to play tomorrow, then after we take care of that game, I will start thinking about Thursday. It’s just another game to me.”

Milwaukee Bucks Head Coach Terry Porter

On the game:
“We had a lot of breakdowns tonight defensively. We did not communicate. Every situation that we could have been in on the defensive end, we broke in our inability to execute. They were out and running on us. That is probably the most disappointing thing. We talked about trying to move the ball, and we did not move the ball at all. If you have 11 turnovers and nine assists, that sounds like whoever gets it shoots it. That is not about passing the ball. You cannot do that against good teams. They lock into you defensively on the strong side and you have to be able to move the ball from the strong side to the weak side. We did not take the challenge tonight. They got out on us early and we did not respond. It is very disappointing that we did not compete. You cannot shoot the ball well and you cannot do some other things. But playing hard and competing, you can always do that. Guys seemed lost out there at times. I do not know if they were intimidated or what. We just were not in it tonight.”

Bucks Forward/Guard Desmond Mason

On the game:
“We didn’t come out moving the ball, or doing the things that we talked about at shootaround this morning, that were going to help us in the game. We just didn’t execute those things.”

On tonight’s loss:
“You can rank this as one of our worst outings. On the offensive end of the floor we were not moving the ball. We’re not executing our plays. We’re not getting back in transition. We’re not getting in front of guys, and we’re not executing our defensive schemes. So it was a poor game for us.”

“We’ll put tonight behind us, because we can’t get it back. We played a terrible game, but we’ve got two home games. So, we’ll take it out on whoever we’re playing at home.”

“I just think that tonight we didn’t come out prepared to play basketball. Like [coach] said, ‘That team’s good, but they’re not that good.’ They’re not that good to beat us by [almost] 40 points.”

Bucks Forward Toni Kukoc

On the game:
“Maybe in the first quarter we showed some fight, but after then that was it.”
