With nearly two decades of broadcasting experience, Kristen Hewitt enters her 10th season as a reporter for the Miami HEAT on FOX Sports Sun. She began with the team back in 2005 as the original coordinating producer of the series Inside the HEAT. One year later, she made her HEAT on-camera debut as a field reporter during the network's postseason coverage of the team's first Championship run in 2006.

Hewitt, a two-time Emmy award winner, began her sports broadcasting career with the Orlando Magic in 1996, and later joined Sunshine Network where she worked behind the scenes as a producer and editor for nearly a decade. Since 2006, she has served as a television host and reporter for the HEAT, Dolphins, Panthers, Orlando Magic, and FOX Sports Florida, covering a wide array of Florida’s collegiate and professional teams. She also produced, directed, and edited the Miami Marlins children’s program Billy’s Bunch, which aired on FOX Sports Florida for six seasons.

Along with her NBA coverage, Hewitt also owns the communications agency, misMEDIA, and contributes as a writer to many websites, hosts a podcast, is a speaker, and has created an award winning lifestyle website – www.kristenhewitt.me.

Originally from Minneapolis, Hewitt graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She resides in South Florida with her husband Bob, and their two daughters, Lila and Emylia.
