Single Game Tickets Go On Sale Saturday,
Incoming Ownership to Pick Up Fees

ATLANTA, GA (October 2, 2003) - In conjunction with Atlanta Hawks single game tickets scheduled to go on sale this Saturday (October 4) at 10:00 a.m., the organization and their incoming ownership group, Atlanta Spirit LLC, are proud to announce an added value benefit to all $25 and $10 ticket purchases. The new group plans to absorb any additional costs or fees for tickets purchased using standard mail, ticketFast, or Will Call delivery.

Single game ticket prices start as low as $10 and can be purchased by visiting any Ticketmaster outlet, online at www.hawks.com and www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX.

“We are extremely excited to provide Hawks fans with the opportunity to take advantage of this extraordinary offer,” said Michael Gearon, Jr., one of the principal owners of Atlanta Spirit LLC. “For those familiar with paying a service charge when buying tickets, our organization is now giving fans the ability to obtain $25 and $10 seats at face value when purchased using standard mail, ticketFast, or Will Call delivery. As a bonus to them, the new ownership group will absorb the fees generally associated with those purchases. We believe this unique benefit, which pertains to all of the Hawks ticket packages, will assist our organization in creating more excitement towards the upcoming season, and we are proud to extend this incentive to our loyal customers.”

To accommodate fans' busy schedules and provide affordable entertainment for families of all incomes, the Hawks are offering a variety of ticket plans for as low as $175 for the upcoming 2003-04 NBA season. Single game tickets for Cleveland (11/22), Orlando (12/13), Sacramento (12/19), Houston (2/7), L.A. Lakers (3/2) and Philadelphia (4/6) will go on sale at a later date, but are currently available as part of the Hawks seven-game ticket plan.

Also back this season will be the popular Chick-fil-A Family Night promotion, where fans receive four game tickets, four Chick-fil-A Combo Meal coupons and Hawks gift(s) for as little as $59. Ticketmaster convenience charges will not apply to the $59, $79 or $109 Family Night packages. Chick-fil-A Family Night’s are set for Nov. 1 (Indiana), Nov. 15 (New Jersey), Dec. 13 (Orlando), Jan. 17 (Toronto), Feb. 7 (Houston), Feb. 28 (Orlando), Mar. 27 (Chicago) and Apr. 10 (Boston).

Additionally, the Hawks plan to offer a variety of free post-game entertainment options throughout the season. Following the home opener against the Indiana Pacers, “NBA Entertainment Celebrity Slam” will make a stop at Philips Arena for a game. Actors Frankie Muniz from TV’s “Malcolm in the Middle,” Morris Chestnut of feature films like "Two Can Play That Game" and "Best Man", Bill Bellamy (“The Brothers” and TV’s “Fastlane”), former “Lois and Clark” star and current host of “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” Dean Cain, and Larenz Tate of "A Man Apart" and "Dead Presidents"; musical performers Nick Carter and Brian Littrell from the Backstreet Boys; and supermodel Tyson Beckford are slated to play.

Two post-game concerts have been confirmed already with more to be announced in the coming weeks - Grammy Award winning gospel singer Kirk Franklin will perform following the Hawks-Nets game on November 15 and three-time Grammy winning group Jars of Clay will take the stage after Hawks-Magic game on February 28.
