- Already without the services of All-Stars Joe Johnson and Al Horford, as well as Willie Green and Jason Collins (all out due to injury), the Hawks lost Tracy McGrady in the first half with a left knee strain ... It didn't matter, as Atlanta posted a 97-90 win over Oklahoma City on Saturday at Philips Arena.

-- Josh Smith led the way with 30 points and 12 rebounds, while Zaza Pachulia tallied 10 points and 14 boards (9 offensive) ... Jeff Teague scored 16 points and Kirk Hinrich added 10.

-- Atlanta forced 7 first quarter turnovers, which they converted into 10 points, on the way to a 27-24 edge after 12 minutes ... The Hawks pushed the lead to 11 in the second quarter before settling for a 53-47 lead at the break (highest scoring first half since putting up 59 vs. Indiana on 2\8).

-- Oklahoma City battled back and took the lead late in the third but Atlanta reclaimed the advantage (76-75) on Jannero Pargo's triple at the third quarter horn.

-- The Thunder tied it at 79 in the fourth but the Hawks went on an 8-0 spurt and led the rest of the way ... Oklahoma City cut it to 1 on a Durant triple but Smith answered with a three of his own and then made enough free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

-- Durant scored 35 points for the Thunder and Russell Westbrook put in 25.

-- Atlanta had a 42-26 edge in points in the paint and forced the Thunder into 21 turnovers (leading to 22 points).
