-- The Heat had a 44-28 advantage in points in the paint and won the battle of boards 52-38, while also hitting 26-31 FTs (Atlanta made 6-7 FTs).

-- With the score knotted at 16, the Heat went on a 14-2 run ending the first quarter with a 30-18 lead ... Miami pushed th lead to 25 in the second before settling for 63-41 advantage at the break.

-- Dwyane Wade scored 21 points in the first half for Miami, LeBron James put in 14, and Chris Bosh had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

-- Miami put it away in the third as the lead ballooned to 32 and Atlanta never threatened the rest of the night.

-- James finished with 23 points and 13 rebounds, while Bosh tallied 14 points and 16 boards, and Wade scored 21.

-- Willie Green paced Atlanta with 17 and Joe Johnson put in 12.
