2010 Atlanta Hawks Playoffs presented by Aarons

I dont think we were trying to milk it. We couldnt get stops. They got into the penalty early, and they kept driving the ball and get to the free throw line. And it caused us to take it out of the net and bring the ball up to the floor, and have to execute. We were terrible in our halfcourt execution coming down the stretch. Our shot selection isnt what were used to, or what we usually see. We just made bad plays coming down the home stretch tonight.

We really werent getting good looks. We were forcing some stuff and got away from some of the things that were working for us earlier in the game. We kind of got exposed on the offensive end.

It was tough. They got in the penalty early we had some good looks at the basket, and we just didnt finish them. Jamal missed some shots that he normally doesnt miss. Its something that we have to deal with.

Were going to go win. No question about it. Thats the bottom line. We have to bring it back to Atlanta.

Well just have to go up to Milwaukee and see what we can come up with.

They just played harder than us on both ends of the court, and did the little things were not doing.

(On the Bucks comeback): Its part of the game. Its never over until the buzzer sounds. Its not shocking. Anythings possible. It happens.

We had an incredible run at the end of the game. Neither team really had their A game out there, but we battled back and did what we needed to do to come up with a big road win. We dont have one of our top defenders in Andrew Bogut, but were finding ways to make up for it. We were concerned at first about our unit going in without him, but these guys have been through a lot, and they just keep battling and moving on.

We executed well at the end of the game and hit some big free throws. You just have to keep fighting. They went up 13 on us and Im sure most people thought the game was over, but everybody makes their runs, and we just kept fighting back, and we came out on top. We just kept attacking all game. The reason we probably won was because of our defense. When Joe Johnson fouled out I thought we really had a chance to win. We made stops, and they struggled on offense from there. It was a big win for us, but we still need one more.
