Hawks Finish Off Magic with Game 6 Win

The Hawks advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals on Thursday night with an 84-81 home win over the Orlando Magic. The win gave Atlanta a 4-2 series victory and serves as sweet redemption for a Hawks team that was swept out of the second round by the Magic last season.
Joe Johnson led the Hawks with 23 points and also grabbed 10 boards, while Jamal Crawford capped off a superb series by scoring 8 of his 19 points in the final quarter, including two free throws with eight seconds remaining to seal the win.
With the series victory, the Hawks now advance to face the top-seeded Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. That series is set to begin on Monday, May 2 at the United Center.

-- The Hawks earned a hard fought 84-81 victory over Orlando at Philips Arena on Thursday to take their first round playoff series 4-2.
