Schröder Leads Germany To Second Straight Win

Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schröder scored 18 points and dished out a game-high 8 assists as the German National Team defeated the Czech Republic 75-68 Saturday.

The win was Germany's second exhibition victory over the Czech Republic in as many days as they continue to prepare for Eurobasket 2015.  Schröder followed up his team-leading 17-point effort Friday with a 6-11 shooting performance and 3 more rebounds in 32 minutes Saturday.  He shot an efficient 12-23 with 35 points and 11 assists ovr the weekend.

Schröder will play for Germany at Eurobasket 2015, which begins Sept. 5.  Germany must finish in the top two of the 24-team field to qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil, though placing in the top 6 will assure them at least one additional opportunity to qualify.
