Atlanta Hawks

ATLANTA -- Atlanta Hawks Equipment Manager Zac Walsh has received the NBAEMA (National Basketball Athletic Equipment Managers Association) David “D.H.” Nordstrom Equipment Manager of the Year award. The award is voted on by the 30 equipment managers, and recognizes the individual that goes above and beyond the call of duty on and off the court and represents an Equipment Manager in the most professional and positive way.

The award was voted on at recent league meetings in Chicago.

“Zac is well-respected in our field and seen as a leader and an example of how to do the job and maintain positive professionalism," Philadelphia 76ers Equipment Manager and past president of the NBAEMA Scott Rego said. "As a group, we are very lucky to have Zac as a high-ranking member in our association.”
