The Atlanta Hawks would like to invite you to attend the 2002-03 Charity Tipoff Luncheon, sponsored by the Atlanta Sports Council and Atlanta Business Chronicle. This prestigious event, hosted by WSB-TV's Monica Kaufman, will feature Hawks players, front office executives, and our special guest, Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin. Don't miss this unique opportunity to get an inside look at the upcoming season from those closely involved as head coach Lon Kruger and players begin their push to the 2003 Playoffs. In addition, gain knowledgeable insight from Mayor Franklin and Hawks executives as they discuss the team’s impact on the continued revitalization efforts in downtown Atlanta. This year’s festivities will take place on Monday, October 14, 2002 at the Hilton Atlanta and Towers, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Atlanta Hawks Foundation’s educational outreach programs.
