HAWKS TO HOST MINI-CAMP NEXT WEEK AT PHILIPS ARENA
2009 Draft Picks Jeff Teague and Sergiy Gladyr Lead Group of Rookies, Free Agents

ATLANTA, GA (July 16, 2009) -- The Atlanta Hawks will host a mini-camp next week on the Philips Arena practice court, with 2009 Hawks draft picks Jeff Teague (19th overall) and Sergiy Gladyr (49th) headlining the group of prospects. Additionally, Atlanta’s 2005 second round pick Cenk Akyol (from Turkey) is expected to participate.

Other notable free agents include two-year NBA veteran John Lucas III, former L.A. Clippers first-round pick Yaroslav Korolev and former Georgia Bulldog Sundiata Gaines.

Following physicals on July 20th, the Hawks will hold an afternoon workout from 4-6 p.m. Two-a-days are set for Tuesday and Wednesday from 10-12 noon and 4-6 p.m, with a single session scheduled for Thursday morning from 10-12 noon.
